The Charlotte Bobcats will have their work cut out for them on Sunday, when the Bobcats head to Miami to face the Heat.
The Miami Heat are sitting at 13-3 this season, and even though the season is young, the Heat already own a five game lead in their division. Miami started off the season a bit sluggish, but since then the Heat have turned it on, and have won nine straight. Miami is just taking care of teams lately, with their closest win, coming by seven points against the Raptors on Friday in Toronto. James led the scoring for the Heat against Toronto, but Wade was the star, finishing the night at +22 with 22 points, seven boards and six assists.

The Charlotte Bobcats are playing better this season, as the Bobcats are 8-9 overall on the year, thanks largely to their stout defense, that is currently ranked second in the league, allowing 91.4 points per game on average. The Bobcats are just 2-3 overall in their last five games however, but did get a win last time out, defeating the Bucks 92-76 on Friday in Charlotte. Al Jefferson led the scoring for the Bobcats on the night, but Charlotte played well overall, with all five starters finishing in + territory.
The Charlotte Bobcats are 9-7 against the spread this season, and the under has been the play for Charlotte this year, as the spread is 4-12 to the under. When the Bobcats are on the road, Charlotte is 5-1 against the spread on the season, and when Charlotte plays a team with a winning record, the Bobcats are 2-2 ATS.
The Miami Heat are 9-7 against the spread this season as well, and at home, Miami is just 4-5 against the spread. When Miami is playing a team with a losing record, the Heat are 4-4 against the spread this season.
I'm going with the under in this spot. Charlotte's defense has been solid all year, and we know how well the Heat can play on D. The Bobcats will have trouble scoring on Miami here, and even though Miami could power through offensively if they needed to, they won't have to in this spot, making for a low scoring game on Sunday.
