The Denver Nuggets aim to extend their winning streak to eight tonight when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Nuggets entered last night's game against the Nets as just 4.5 point favorites, but awarded bettors with one of the easiest of covers when they cruised to a 111-87 win. Ty Lawson played had just 13 points while Kenneth Faried added 15, but once again the fantastic second unit of the Nuggets came through with a combined 57 points led by 17 points and 20 rebounds from Timofey Mozgov. The Nuggets have now won their last four road games and will have plenty of opportunities to improve on their 5-4 road record as their next four opponents are all sub .500 teams.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers were able to snap a five-game skid on Saturday thanks to a breakout performance of 20 points,10 rebounds and five blocks from Andrew Bynum. Dion Waiters had 20 points off the bench on eight of 10 shooting, while Kyrie Irving added 19 points, but this game was all about Bynum's inside presence and the Cavs' ability to push the tempo and create open shots against one of the best defensive teams. With the win, Cleveland improved to 5-12 on the season and 4-3 at home.
In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 5-0 ATS in the last five road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Cavs are 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 home games.
Head to head, the Nuggets are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Cleveland.
The Nuggets have really been playing some great basketball lately and that's because their offense doesn't miss a beat when they go to their reserves. On the other hand, the Cavs were seriously struggling until Bynum decided to turn back the clock with a massive game. It would be easy to take Denver who are definitely in better form, but I'm actually going to side with the home team who is coming off a big win and will be well-rested for this game.
