The Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks duke it out at the Fiserv Forum on Thursday night.

The Brooklyn Nets are starting to heat up now as they are aiming for a fourth straight victory after routing the Rockets in a 118-96 road win on Tuesday. Mikal Bridges led the team with 30 points and five assists, Spencer Dinwiddie added 23 points while Nic Claxton chipped in with 18 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks on eight of nine shooting. As a team, the Nets shot 49 percent from the field and 15 of 40 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with 32 points in the second quarter before they dominated the second half by 59-42 to make it a complete blowout.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been on fire as they’ve won 18 of their last 19 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after beating the Magic in a 134-123 road win on Tuesday. Brook Lopez led the team with 26 points on nine of 14 shooting, Khris Middleton and Jevon Carter each scored 24 points while Bobby Portis chipped in with 16 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Bucks shot a healthy 59 percent from the field and 10 of 28 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 36 points in the first quarter to take the early double-digit lead and they just kept the pace to stay in front right till the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games against a team with a home record above .600 and 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on one days rest. The Bucks are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a win and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 13-2-1 in the last 16 meetings overall, the Nets are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Milwaukee and the Nets are 17-37-1 ATS in the last 55 meetings overall.

The Nets are shorthanded again as Nic Claxton, Ben Simmons and Spencer Dinwiddie are all listed as out on the injury report, while the Bucks should have Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday both back in the lineup after they were rested on Tuesday. The Nets are starting to heat up now, but they could be missing some key players against the Bucks who have been running through everyone this season. The Nets are only 17-37-1 TS in the last 55 meetings overall and I think that trend continues as the Bucks take care of business against this banged up Nets team.
