The Line: Chicago Bulls -7.5 -- Over/Under: 182.5 See the Latest Odds
The Milwaukee Bucks head to Chicago on Tuesday to square off against the Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls are just under the .500 mark at this point and sitting at 8-10 on the year. Chicago is playing very well at home, however, going 6-2 at the United Center this season. The Bulls have one of the top defenses in the league currently, holding opponents to an average of 94 points per game, but the offense is sputtering, ranking 25th in the league at an average of 94.2 points per outing. This will be the final game for the Bulls on this four game home stand, where Chicago has gone 1-2 overall so far with losses against the Pelicans and the Pistons.

The Milwaukee Bucks have really struggled to find any kind of momentum this season, as the Bucks are just 4-16 on the year. The Bucks are also just 2-8 on the road this season. Milwaukee, like the Bulls, play well defensively, holding opponents to 99.4 per game, but the offense just can’t seem to get anything going, as the Bucks are scoring just under 91 points per outing. Milwaukee’s last outing was a home game against the Nets on Saturday, where the Bucks fell to Brooklyn 90-82.
The Bucks are 6-14 against the spread this season, and when Milwaukee is on the road, the Bucks are just 4-6 ATS on the year. Milwaukee is also just 1-3 against the spread this year against division opponents.
The Chicago Bulls are 7-11 against the spread on the year, going 4-4 ATS at home. Chicago is also 4-45 against the spread this season when facing a team with a losing record.
For my free pick here I’ll take the Bulls at home, but personally I am staying away from this one. Deng is listed as questionable for Chicago and all reports I’ve seen state that he wil likely not play tonight.
I don’t think it will matter much, however. Don’t get me wrong, this is a significant loss for the Bulls as Deng currently leads the team in minutes per game, but the Bucks are not without their bumps and bruises as well here as Butler will be out for Milwaukee.
I certainly don’t love this pick, but I have to lay this number with the Bulls at home.
