The shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies look for a big win tonight when they take on the red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Grizzlies have certainly been struggling lately but they haven't been making excuses even though the absence of Marc Gasol, Tony Allen and now Quincy Pondexter have really tested their depth and limited their scoring options. However, after losing three of four, the Grizzlies were able to snag a win over another shorthanded team when they beat the Magic by 94-85 on Monday. Zach Randolph led the team with 19 points and 12 rebounds while Jon Leuer added 16 points and 12 rebounds off the bench, but it was the Grizzlies' defense in the first half that really set up the win. With the win, Memphis improve to 10-10 on the season and a mediocre 5-7 at home.

On the other hand, the Thunder have been simply running through opponents and come into this game looking for a fourth straight victory after downing the Hawks by 101-92 last night. Kevin Durant stuffed the stat sheet with 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, while Serge Ibaka quietly added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Russell Westbrook shot just six of 21 from the field for his 14 points, but added 11 assists, nine rebounds and four steals to lift the Thunder to 16-4 on the season and 6-4 on the road.

In ATS trends, the Thunder are 8-1 ATS in their last nine after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 overall, while the Grizzlies are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a win and 3-11 ATS in their last 14 home games.

Head to head, the Thunder are just 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings overall, but the road team is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings.

I really feel for the Grizzlies, who have been struggling on offense without Gasol, but they showed marked improvement on the defensive end in their latest win which is a real boost. However, the Thunder are simply rolling and should be able to snag another win despite playing last night. OKC for the win and cover in this one.
