The Golden State Warriors look for revenge against the Houston Rockets on Friday night from Oracle Arena.
Head to head, the Rockets are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings while the favorite is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings. The Warriors are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600, 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. Western Conference and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games. The Rockets on the other hand are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest, but just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NBA Pacific and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
I apologize for the shortness of this articles, but I'm going to skip all the fluff and get straight into it.
The Golden State Warriors didn't look very good offensively in their 95-93 win over Dallas on Wednesday night, but I think that was more to do with them having been on the road for nearly all of the past two weeks as they were clearly rusty in the first half. Their two previous home games before that finished on 215 and 214 points, respectivly. The Houston Rockets are coming off a 111-104 loss in Portland last night as they come into tonight's game with the number one ranked offense in the entire NBA. There last three road games have all finished above 212 points or greater.
The under has hit the last three times these two teams have played, which includes the Rockets 105-83 home win last Friday night. Having said that, I expect a much better scoring game from the Warriors in this one and they have given up 100 points to nine of their past 12 opponents. Houston will look to push the pace like usual and I think we see a high scoring affair in what should be an entertaining game...
