The Charlotte Bobcats can claim a big scalp tonight if they can take down the Indiana Pacers in their own building.
The Bobcats looked to have turned the corner with two impressive wins over the 76ers and the Warriors, but they snapped back to reality on Wednesday when they lost to the Magic by 92-83. Kemba Walker who had 32 points on Monday night, was held to just 10 points on four of 18 shooting, while the Bobcats shot 37 percent from the field as a team. On the defensive end, the Bobcats held the Magic to 43 percent shooting, but were simply outworked on the glass by 52-41 which just points to effort and intensity. With the loss, Charlotte fall to 10-12 on the season and 6-7 at home.

Meanwhile, the Pacers have won three of their last four and are coming off their biggest win of the season, a 90-84 victory against the Heat. Roy Hibbert led all scorers with 24 points, while Paul George and David West added 17 apiece, but this game was all about defense and that's where the Pacers were clearly the better team on this night. The Heat were held 43 percent shooting from the field and just 19 percent (four of 21) from the three point line. The only real blemish from what was a great win for the Pacers was their 21 turnovers which led to 20 points for the Heat.
In ATS trends, the Bobcats are 7-0 ATS in their last seven road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
Head to head, the Bobcats are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Indiana.
It's a shame the Bobcats came out flat against the Magic because when they focus, they're good enough to trouble most teams in the league. However, the Pacers are on a different level and should be able to take care of a lesser team in the Bobcats tonight, especially at home. I am a little worried about the chance of the Pacers having a letdown game, but it's just hard to go against them at the moment.
