The streaking Phoenix Suns will be up for a challenge tonight when they welcome the Golden State Warriors to town.
The Warriors have really been inconsistent lately, alternating wins and losses for their last six outings so I guess they're a lock to win tonight as they were beaten by the Rockets by 116-112 on Friday. David Lee led the scoring with 23 points, while Stephen Curry and Harrison Barnes added 20 points apiece, but the defense just wasn't there as the Rockets shot 49 percent from the field, including 41 percent from the three point line. Even Dwight Howard made a three pointer. With the loss, Golden State fall to 13-11 on the season and 7-3 at home.

Meanwhile, the Suns have won 10 of their last 13 and will be looking for their fifth straight win tonight after blowing past the Kings by 116-107 on Friday. The dynamic backcourt of Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic continues to improve with each game and they were at their best against the Kings, combining for 57 points on 21 of 30 shooting. With the win, Phoenix improves to 13-9 on the season and 7-3 at home but the Suns haven't won five straight since Jan 12-21, 2011.
In ATS trends, the Warriors are 15-6-2 ATS in their last 23 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Suns are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Head to head, the Warriors have won the last six meetings while going 5-1 ATS, so the Suns will have to play at their best to buck the trend. Given the form the Suns are in, I actually think they can do it so I'm taking the home team to win tonight by single digits.
