The struggling Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to avoid a seventh straight loss tonight when they take on the Brooklyn Nets.
With just one win in their last 11 outings, it's fair to say that the 76ers have been in a bit of a slump lately, but they had to endure a true beatdown on Saturday when they were obliterated by the Blazers by 139-105. With Michael Carter-Williams out with a skin infection, Tony Wroten started at point guard and had a team-high 18 points, while Hollis Thompson added 17, but this game was all about the Blazers who made a franchise-high 21 three pointers. With the loss, the Sixers fall to 1-9 without Carter-Williams, 7-18 on the season and 6-8 at home.

Meanwhile, the Nets have finally found a bit of form lately, but were unable to win a fourth straight game when they fell to the Pistons by 103-99 on Friday. Deron Williams continued his strong form with 22 points and nine assists, while Andray Blatche added 20 points and 12 rebounds, but this game got out of hand in the second quarter where the Nets were outscored 38-20. The Nets just couldn't contain the impressive Pistons frontcourt which put them behind big before a late rally kept the score respectable.
In ATS trends, the Sixers are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall, while the Nets are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the SIxers are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six in Brooklyn.
The Sixers are going to struggle to win tonight, but I like their chances of keeping the score respectable, even without MCW. Take Philly with the points in this one.
