Dirk Nowitzki could return for the Dallas Mavericks tonight when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies have lost six of their last seven and are coming off a tough 96-92 loss to the struggling Lakers. Zach Randolph was heavily involved with 18 points, 16 rebounds and five assists, but other than that, the Grizzlies were really stuttered on offense without Mike Conley who sat out with a left thigh contusion and is listed as questionable for tonight. If Conley is unable to return, expect Jerryd Bayless to keep the starting point guard role like he did last night, scoring 13 points. With the loss, Memphis drop to 10-14 on the season and 5-10 at home.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks were able to avoid a three-game skid on Saturday by blowing past the Bucks by 106-93 despite playing without Dirk Nowitzki and coach Rick Carlisle. With Nowitzki out, Jose Calderon took it upon himself to be more of a scorer and he did so with 18 points while Vince Carter had 15 points off the bench. However, the real x-factor for the game was actually Brandon Wright who scored 19 points in just 19 minutes off the bench on nine of 10 shooting in his season debut. The Mavs are currently ranked seventh in scoring which is decent, but they are ranked 25th in rebounds so you should expect a healthy Wright to earn plenty of minutes.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a loss, while teh Mavs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Over is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in Dallas.
Nowitzki was listed as a game-time decision for this game, but the rumors are that he will play tonight which explains why the Mavs are such heavy favorites here. With the offensive struggles the Grizzlies have been going through, I can't see anything but a big win for the Mavs here so let's ride them in this one.
