The Memphis Grizzlies and the Dallas Mavericks collide at the American Airlines Center on Sunday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies are coming into this game with plenty of momentum as they’ve won 13 of their past 15 games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after outlasting the Nuggets in a 122-118 road win on Friday. Ja Morant led the team with 38 points and six assists on 15 of 26 shooting, Jaren Jackson Jr. added 20 points with four blocks, DeAnthony Melton scored 21 points while Ziaire Williams chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 52 percent from the field and 11 of 25 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 37 points in the first quarter to take an early 14-point lead which they held until late in the fourth quarter where the Nuggets rallied to make it interesting late.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 10 of their past 12 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after having their four-game win streak halted by the Suns in a 109-101 home loss on Thursday. Luka Doncic led the team with 28 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, Jalen Brunson added 19 points while Kristaps Porzingis chipped in with 18 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Mavericks shot 43 percent from the field and 11 of 37 from the 3-point line as they held the Suns to just 45 points in the first half to lead for most of the game, until they went ice-cold in the fourth quarter where the Suns outscored them by 35-19 to snatch the game from them late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 road games, 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 21-8 ATS in their last 29 games overall. The Mavericks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on two days’ rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings in Dallas and the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall.

The Grizzlies are going to be shorthanded once again as Desmond Bane, Kyle Anderson and Dillon Brooks are all out, while the Mavericks are just about at full strength except for Sterling Brown who is listed as questionable. Here we have two of the hottest teams in the league colliding in what could be the game of the night. It’s tempting to go with the Mavericks at the short line at home, but the Grizzlies are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 road games and I think they can take this own down to the wire.
