The Utah Jazz head to Orlando on Wednesday to face off against the Magic.
The Orlando Magic are sitting at 8-17 on the year, and even though this Magic team started off the season hot, the Magic have started to dwindle somewhat as of late. Orlando is struggling on both ends of the court right now, which is evident by their record as of late. The Magic are just 2-3 in their last five games heading into this meeting with the Jazz on Wednesday. Orlando did get a win last time out however, defeating the Bulls on Monday, so a win here against the Jazz could give the Magic some momentum going forward.

The Utah Jazz started out the season rough, but since the Jazz have been playing better ball. The Jazz are still ranked towards the bottom of the league in both offensive and defensive scoring statistics, but there are some signs of life with this Jazz team. Utah is 2-2 in their last four games, winning back to back games on the road, against the Kings and then an impressive win at Denver against the Nuggets. Since those wins however, the Jazz have dropped their last two, falling to the Spurs and the Heat…although there isn’t much shame in losing to those two teams.
The Utah Jazz are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games overall, and the Jazz are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games following a straight up loss. The over is 5-1 in the last six games for the Jazz following an ATS loss this season. The Jazz have been the play lately in this series, covering in six of the last seven games between these two teams.
The Orlando Magic are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games against the Northwest division, but the Magic are just 8-20 against the spread in their last 28 home games against a team with a losing record. The under is 5-1 in the last six games overall for Orlando.
I’m going to take the Magic in this spot. Neither one of these two teams is exactly lighting this up as of late, but this Magic team is playing better at home. The Jazz have played better as of late, but this is just a tough spot for them after two tough games, including a road trip to Miami this past Monday.
