The Line: Milwaukee Bucks -2.5 -- Over/Under: 201.5 See the Latest Odds
The Milwaukee Bucks return home to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
Head to head, the home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the underdog is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings. The Bucks are 17-37 ATS in their last 54 games playing on 0 days rest, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games overall. The 76ers on the other hand are 11-28 ATS in their last 39 games playing on 0 days rest, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
I apologize for the shortness of this article, but I'm not feeling well so I'm going to cut straight to the chase.
I really don't know who is going to win and cover in this one to be honest. The Milwaukee Bucks are playing better and they should of really won their last two games against New York and in Cleveland last night, but I had them getting three points the last time these two teams met in Philly and what happened? Spencer Hawes hit a very tough three-pointer from the left the corner as the siren sounded to take the game in overtime, where the 76ers would eventually come away 115-107 winners.
Just how bad have Philly been on defense lately? Well I don't think you would believe me if I told you. I'm going to anyway though obviously. The 76ers have given up an average of 129 points over their last three games. Granted, last night's game against Brooklyn went into overtime, but they allowed the Trail Blazers and Nets put up 139 and 130, respectively, in their previous two. It's no surprise that over's are 10-4 in their last 14 road games and 4-0 in their last four. The Bucks are among the worst offensive teams in basketball, but I don't think it will matter against this defense and they still managed to put up 102 on the 76ers in regulation in their last meeting.
