The Detroit Pistons head to Cleveland on Monday to face off against the Cavaliers.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently sitting at 10-16 this season, while going a very impressive 8-4 at home this season. The Cavs are definitely not a team that will blow you away with their stats, but if Cleveland could somehow find a way to earn some road wins to go a long with the solid home play, the Cavs should see the post season this year. The Cavs are just 1-3 overall in their last four games, with that win, coming at home believe it or not to the Bucks on Friday. Last time out, the Cavs fell to the Bulls on the road 100-84.

The Detroit Pistons head to Cleveland on Monday with a record of 13-16, and a road record of 7-6 this season. The Pistons are playing well on the road this season, and normally for that to be the case you need a strong defense. Well, that is definitely not the strength of this Pistons team, as Detroit is giving up an average of 102 points per game this season. Detroit has got better as the season has progressed however, which is definitely a positive sign. The Pistons are 2-2 overall in their last four games.
The Detroit Pistons are 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four games on the road against a team with a winning record, and the Pistons are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven road games overall. Detroit is also 4-1 against the spread in their last five Monday games.
The Cleveland Cavs are 5-1 against the spread in their last six home games, but the Cavs are just 1-8-1 against the spread in their last ten games played on a Monday night. The Pistons are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven meetings against the Cavs.
Tough call, but I’m giving the slight edge here to the Cavs. Cleveland has been playing lights out at home this season, and while the Pistons are a solid road team, I think the advantage here lies with the Cavs on their home court.
