The Memphis Grizzlies look for back to back wins for just the second time this season when they take on the Utah Jazz tonight.
Five straight losses and the Grizzlies looked to be in a world of hurt, but they were able put a halt to that skid by taking down the hapless Knicks by 95-87 on Saturday. Zach Randolph dominated the paint with 25 points and 15 rebounds, while Tony Allen added 19 points and eight boards. In fact, the Grizzlies were absolutely fantastic on the glass, outrebounding the Knicks by 56-29 and the only real blemish for the game was the play of Mike Conley who shot just four of 18 for nine points with eight assists. With the win, Memphis improved to 11-15 on the season and 6-5 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Jazz have won four of their last seven and are coming off an 88-85 win over the Bobcats thanks to some clutch play from Trey Burke who scored 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter. Gordon Hayward added 12 points and 10 rebounds and Derrick Favors contributed 14 as the Jazz won despite shooting just 38 percent from the field. With the win, Utah improved to 8-22 overall and 5-12 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games against a team with a losing home record and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS cover, while the Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall and 3-14 ATS in their last 17 home games.
I know the Grizzlies have been terrible to watch lately, but they really did seem to rediscover their winning mentality in their win over the Knicks and with Conley back on the court, I'm confident they can repeat that performance.
