A couple of struggling teams meet tonight when the Brooklyn Nets welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to town.
You have to feel for the Bucks who just haven't been able to catch a break lately. They've lost six of their last seven and are coming off their third straight overtime loss in five days! Brandon Knight had a monster game of 26 points, eight rebounds and 14 assists and Khris Middleton added 19 as the Bucks dominated the Bobcats early and led by as many as 18 points, but they went from hot to cold in an instant as the Bobcats levelled the game before delivering the finishing blows in the extra period. With the loss, Milwaukee drop to 6-22 on the season and 3-11 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Nets haven't exactly been setting the world on fire either as they have lost five of their last six including their last four straight. On Christmas Day, Deron Williams had 18 points while Mirza Teletovic added 17, but the Nets continued to struggled with their leading scorer in Brook Lopez as the Nets fell apart in the second and third quarters, getting outscored by a combined 56-35 against the Bulls to lose by 95-78. With the loss, Brooklyn fall to 5-9 at home and 9-19 on the season which coincidentally puts them level with the Knicks.
In ATS trends, the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a loss, while the Nets are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Bucks are 14-2 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and 8-0 ATS in the last eight meetings in Brooklyn.
For one reason or another, the Bucks have absolutely dominated the Nets ATS in the last few seasons but you would be quite an optimist to think that the Bucks would cover the spread in the form they're in. With that being said, the Nets are in a seriously slump themselves but have shown enough life this month for me to take them to win at home against the Bucks.
