The Toronto Raptors head to New York on Friday to face off against the Knicks.
The New York Knicks have had a rough go of it this season, as the Knicks are sitting at 9-19 on the season and barring any major rejuvenation, the Knicks will be watching the playoffs from their homes. New York has a top ten defense this season, but offensively the Knicks are atrocious, ranking 25th in the league in scoring offense this season. The Knicks are just 2-3 overall in their last five games heading into Friday’s meeting with the Raptors, with New York’s last outing resulting in a loss to the Thunder on Wednesday, 123-94.

The Toronto Raptors have been playing some decent ball this season as the Raptors are just under the .500 mark on the year, at 11-15. Toronto, like the Knicks plays very well defensively, but the offense for the Raptors is much more potent, averaging just under 100 points per game this season. Traditionally, the Raptors are not a very good road team, but that has not been the case this season, as the Raptors are 7-7 away from home this season. The Raptors are also playing well right now, winning two out of their last three, and three out of their last five heading into this meeting with the Knicks.
The Toronto Raptors are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games on the road, and the Raptors are 8-2 against the spread in their last ten games on the road, facing a team with a losing record.
The New York Knicks are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games following an outright loss, and the Knicks are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games following an ATS loss.
Normally I love home dogs, but this is a bad spot for the Knicks. The Raptors are playing well right now, and the Raptors have played well on the road all season long. The Knicks should make it interesting at the Garden, but have to take Toronto in this spot.
