The Sacramento Kings and the San Antonio Spurs duke it out at the AT&T Center on Sunday night in NBA action.
The Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the Rockets in a 139-114 home win on Friday. Harrison Barnes led the team with 27 points, De’Aaron Fox added 24 points with five assists on nine of 14 shooting, Terence Davis scored 22 points while Domantas Sabonis tallied a triple-double of 19 points with 15 rebounds and 16 assists. As a team, the Kings shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and 20 of 40 from the 3-point line, but they actually struggled to gain any separation until the third quarter where they broke free with 43 points to set up the massive win.
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been in a major slump as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a four-game slide after getting thrashed by the Warriors in a 144-113 loss on Friday. Tre Jones led the team with 21 points and five assists on seven of 11 shooting, Keldon Johnson added 17 points while Doug McDermott chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Spurs shot 45 percent from the field and eight of 22 from the 3-point line, but the problems were on the defensive end as they leaked 41 points in the second quarter and another 40 points in the third quarter. Jakob Poeltl had a rough night as he scored just eight points on two of nine shooting while Jeremy Sochan scored just four points on two of nine shooting.
Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win, 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games against a team below .400 and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games playing on one days rest. The Spurs are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

The Kings could be shorthanded here as Kevin Huerter is listed as questionable, while the Spurs will again be missing Devin Vassell and Doug McDermott is listed as questionable.
