The Minnesota Timberwolves look for a third straight win over the Dallas Mavericks tonight when they meet at the Target Center.

The Timberwolves have been pretty inconsistent this season, but seem to be starting to turn things around with six wins in their last 10 outings. On Saturday, Kevin Love poured in 33 points, 15 rebounds and six assists while Nikola Pekovic added 19 points and 11 boards as the Wolves cruised past the lowly Bucks by 117-95 to improve to 15-15 on the season and 6-11 on the road. Kevin Martin made four three pointers on his way to 20 points and Ricky Rubio had just four points but added eight assists and six steals to round out the key contributors. The Wolves have now won four straight at home to improve to 9-4 at the Target Center.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have lost three of their last five but are coming off a dominant 105-83 victory over the Bulls thanks to a hot start from everyone as they put the game away early, leading by as many as 29 before halftime before coasting in the second half. Monta Ellis led all scorers with 22 points while Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter added 18 points apiece as Dallas improved to 17-13 overall and 6-9 on the road.

In ATS trends, the Mavs are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 road games against a team with a winning home record and 35-16 ATS in their last 51 road games, while the Timberwolves are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a win.

Head to head, the Mavs are 3-8 ATS int he last 11 meetings overall but a healthy 10-4 ATS in the last 14 in Minnesota.

These two teams have already met twice this season back in November and it has been the Wolves who have come out on top in both meetings so I'm definintely sticking with them to get another win and cover here. Expect yet another big night from Love...
