After a pretty busy evening last night, the NBA will be maintaining form today with eight more games on the schedule. The action will begin in the afternoon and continue into the wee hours, so there will be plenty for us fans to do all day. In the meantime, here’s a look at some of the noteworthy names and storylines out there across the league.

John Wall, PG, Washington Wizards: Wall and the Wizards finished off a home-and-home against the Pistons last night, and once again they registered a victory. For his part, Wall posted 29 points, seven assists and four rebounds in the 106-99 win, which was his seventh straight game with at least 20 points.
The Wizards have now won five of their last six and have clawed their way back to .500. They start a three-game home-stand tomorrow against the incoming Mavericks.

Jrue Holiday, PG, New Orleans Pelicans: A couple of days after posting just three points against the Rockets, Holiday was back to form last night against Portland. He put up 31 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists in the 110-108 victory, which was his fourth double-double in the last nine games.
Let’s take a look at New Orleans’ upcoming schedule. They’re hitting the road starting tomorrow in Minnesota, then will continue their four-game trip in Boston on Friday. The Pelicans have won three of four and sit at 14-15 on the year.

LeBron James, SF, Miami Heat: James sat out Miami’s dramatic win over Portland due to a groin injury, but he was back out there last night. He managed to go 40 minutes in the 97-94 win over Denver, posting 26 points, six rebounds and 10 assists. It was James’ first double-double since Dec. 10.
Heat fans don’t really have too much to complain about. Their team sits at 24-7 and has won eight of their last nine games. They’ll be off tomorrow, then will get back to it Thursday against the Warriors.

Shawn Marion, PF, Dallas Mavericks: We haven’t talked about Marion too much this year, but this morning he certainly deserves mention. He put up a season-high 32 points against the Timberwolves last night, helping the team to a 100-98 victory. Marion also added six rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal in the win. Over his previous 10 games, he’d been averaging just 9.4 PPG, so this is a welcome breakout.
The Mavs have won three of their last four games and sit at 18-13. They’ll finish off their current road trip tomorrow in DC.

NBA Daily Schedule: 16 teams will be in action tonight, so we’re bound to see some great basketball ahead. Here’s a look at the full schedule, along with the start times and TV networks where you can catch the games.
