The Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to cap off 2013 with a win when they welcome the Portland Trailblazers to town tonight.
The Trailblazers won 11 of their first 13 games of December, but all of a sudden they're hoping to avoid a third straight loss after falling by 110-108 to the Pelicans last night. Damian Lillard made five threes on his way to a team-high 29 points while LaMarcus Aldridge added 28 points, but the Blazers' usually stingy defense just couldn't slow down the Pelicans who were allowed to shoot 54 percent from the field. In particular, Jrue Holiday got just about any shot he wanted against the Blazers, resulting in a season-high 31 points and 13 assists. With the loss, Portland drop to 24-7 overall and 12-4 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Thunder have won 12 of their last 13 and are coming off a massive 117-86 win over the Rockets. With Russell Westbrook down, Kevin Durant has noticeably increased his workload and the Rockets were the latest witnesses as he poured in 33 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Reggie Jackson filled in for Westbrook in the starting role and added 16 points and eight assists while Jeremy Lamb shot eight for 10 for his 22 points to round out the scorers. Defensively, the Thunder were as good as ever in holding the high-scoring Rockets to just 36 percent from the field and James Harden to just eight points.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and 0-7 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Thunder are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Blazers are 1-6-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 1-4 ATS in teh last five meetings in OKC.
The Thunder have simply been rolling through opponents but they've actually lost to the Blazers back on Dec 4 so they'll be cautious about this game. With that being said, I'm expecting a close game tonight but I can't go past the Thunder who have been dominant at home all season and seem to be getting better all the time.
