The Golden State Warriors look to extend their winning streak to eight tonight when they take on the Atlanta Hawks.
The Warriors have been on an absolute tear recently, winning seven straight including a 123-114 upset over the defending champions last night behind a monster night from Stephen Curry who poured in 36 points and 12 assists including eight three pointers. David Lee wasn't too shabby himself, adding 32 points on 13 of 17 shooting while Klay Thompson quietly added 16, but this night was all about Curry who made as many threes as the entire Heat team combined. With the win, Golden State improve to 21-13 overall and 10-9 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have won six of their last eight and are coming off a nail biting 92-91 win over the Celtics thanks to Paul Millsap who had season highs of 34 points and 15 rebounds as the Hawks rallied from an 18-point deficit to escape with the win. Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver added 16 and 14 points respectively, but this was really a one-man effort as no one else even finished in double figures in scoring. With Al Horford expected to be out for the rest of the season, the Hawks will likely be leaning heavily on Millsap so it seems like he's all set for a breakout season.
In ATS trends, the Warriors are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following an ATS win, while hte Hawks are 4-1 ATS in their last five against a team with a winning record but 0-4 ATS in their last four against a team with a winning road record.
Head to head, the Warriors are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and the Over is 9-4 in the last 13 in Atlanta.
The Hawks have shown great resiliency to play hard and win games without their leading scorer in Horford, but I can't resist taking the Warriors in the form they're in. Golden State are the hottest team in the league at the moment so let's ride them while they're hot.
