LeBron James and the Miami Heat travel to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks tonight.

The Heat have won five of their last six and will be looking for a fourth straight victory after cruising past the Pelicans by 107-88 on Tuesday. LeBron James led all scorers with 32 points, Dwyane Wade added 22 points and eight assists as the Heat fought back from an early 11-point deficit in the second half before running away with the big win. Miami have now won 11 of their last 13 to improve to 27-8 on the season but they will still be sweating on the health of Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier who both remain day to day with their respective injuries.

Meanwhile, Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points, including 13 in the third quarter to lead the Knicks past the Pistons by 89-85 on Tuesday. Andrea Bargnani added 13 points and 11 rebounds in Tyson Chandler's absence and Raymond Felton returned from a six-game absence to score 12 points and six assists while playing an encouraging 31 minutes. The Knicks have really been decimated by injuries but Tyson Chandler and Kenyon Martin will be game-time decisions tonight, while Metta World Peace and Pablo Prigioni will still be out. With three wins in their last four outings, New York improves to 12-22 overall and 5-12 at home.

In ATS trends, the Heat are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a win, while the Knicks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.

Head to head, the Knicks have won four of the last six meetings but this is actually the first meeting between these teams this season. The Knicks have finally started to turn things around, but until they get healthy and back to playing consistent basketball, there's no way I'm backing them against this Heat team.
