The San Antonio Spurs look to keep their winning streak alive tonight when they pay a visit to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Spurs have won seven of their last eight and will be going for a fifth straight tonight after making light work of the Timberwolves last night. In the absence of Manu Ginobili and Tiago Splitter, the Spurs' depth was tested and the bench responded with 51 combined points which really changed the game and laid the foundation for the starting lineup to finish off the game. Tony Parker had a nice game of 14 points and 11 assists while Tim Duncan added 15 points, but it was actually Kawhi Leonard who led the team in scoring with 17 points as the Spurs beat the Wolves by 104-86 to improve to 29-8 overall and 15-5 at home.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans have lost six of their last seven and will be looking to avoid a sixth straight loss after losing to the Mavericks by 110-107 on Saturday. Anthony Davis had a strong outing of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while Eric Gordon added 20 points of his own, but there was just no stopping Dirk Nowitzki who torched the Pelicans for 40 points. New Orleans continue to struggle without the services of Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson, but they hope to have Tyreke Evans back on the court after he was a DNP-CD in the lost to the Mavs on Saturday.

In ATS trends, the Spurs are 5-0 ATS in their last five games playing on no rest and 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games, while the Pelicans are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the Spurs are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 0-5 ATS in the last five in New Orleans.

Davis has clearly been the Pelicans' best player during the slump but I don't give the Pelicans a chance at all if he continues to struggle against the Spurs. Personally, I think the Spurs will win this game either way so I'm taking them to win and continue their strong road record ATS.
