The Line: Toronto Raptors -11.5 -- Over/Under: 184.5 See the Latest Odds

The Toronto Raptors look for their third straight win as they host the slumping Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

Head to head, the Bucks are 11-3 ATS in the last 14 meetings and 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Toronto while the road team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings and the favorite is 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings. The Raptors are 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games overall. The Bucks on the other hand are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games, 22-57 ATS in their last 79 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 20-41 ATS in their last 61 games overall.

The Toronto Raptors as 11.5 point favorites, rather generous you say? Well, consider that the only Canadian based team is 12-5 since shipping Rudy Gay off to Sacramento at the start of last month. Of those five losses, two came against San Antonio and also on the road at Indiana and Miami. Not only that, the Raptors have covered the spread in nine straight contests and are 14-3 ATS since the Gay trade. If you thought that was good, also remember that they have won four straight at home against New York, Indiana, Detroit and Brooklyn all by 13 points or more. That's right, they defeated the Pacers by 13 points on New Year's day, super impressive.

Where do I start with the Milwaukee Bucks? I happen to think that if everyone on this roster had been healthy from the start of the season and up until now, they would be a competent team in this weak Eastern Conference. However, as it stands, the Bucks have lost 29 of their 36 games and are a putrid 12-24 against the spread on the season. They are currently riding a five-game losing streak with an average losing margin of 14.2 points in those games.

There you have it. Toronto is clearly the third best team in the East right now and well, the Bucks are in a free fall and I'm not sure things will turn around for them, which would be the best thing to happen anyway considering they could potentially land Jabari Parker with a top three pick in this upcoming draft. The Raptors are playing with such confidence right now, especially at home, coming of two massive wins over the Pistons and Nets. Probably the most impressive thing about Toronto lately has been their lockdown defense as they have put up better defensive numbers than the Indiana Pacers since trading Rudy Gay away. Know this, the Raptors have held six of their last nine opponents to under 90 points and four of those below 84 points..
