The Line: San Antonio Spurs -13 -- Over/Under: 202 See the Latest Odds
The Utah Jazz will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday, when the Jazz head to San Antonio to face the Spurs.
The San Antonio Spurs are currently 30-8 on the year, and at home San Antonio is playing solid, going 15-5 this season. The Spurs are currently in first place into eh Southwest division, leading the Rockets by 5.5 games, but the Spurs are a lot like the Heat in my opinion as they just want to get through the regular season healthy, so they can gear up for their playoff run. The Spurs have won five straight heading into Wednesday’s meeting with the Jazz, with their latest win coming on Monday on the road at New Orleans, beating the Pelicans 101-95. Parker led the way for the Spurs against New Orleans, putting up 27 on the night.

The Utah Jazz started off the season on an absolutely horrible foot, losing their first eight, and going just 1-14 in their fist 15. The Jazz have gotten healthier, and are now playing some better ball, having a record of 13-26 this season. The Jazz are now 3-2 overall in their last five games, with their last win coming in impressive fashion, beating the solid Denver Nuggets in Utah on Monday, 118-103. Hayward is leading the Jazz attack this season with an average of 17.1 points per game.
The Utah Jazz are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games on Wednesday nights, and the Jazz are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games when allowing triple digits the game before. Utah however is just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games following an outright win, and the Jazz are just 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games on just one day of rest.
The Spurs are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games at home, and the Spurs are 19-7 against the spread in their last 26 games following an ATS loss. The Spurs are also 3-11 against the spread in t their last 14 games against the Southwest.
I am on the over all the way here. The Spurs can light it up on nearly anyone (especially this Utah defense) and the Jazz have really come on as of late offensively. Utah would love to get the shocker here in San Antonio, and look for the pace to be high here, which should equal plenty of poitns, pushing this one over the number.
