The Golden State Warriors head to the Midwest on Friday to face off against the Thunder.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are playing excellent ball again this season, as the Thunder are 29-10 on the year, and at home the Thunder are nearly unbeatable, going 16-3 this season. The Thunder are currently in second place in the Northwest division, thanks to the tremendous season the Trail Blazers are having, but this is a playoff team for sure and a serious contender to make the Finals out of the West. The Thunder are coming off a crazy game against the Rockets on Thursday night. OKC gave up 41 points to Houston in the second quarter as the Rockets were raining three’s but OKC stiffened up defensively after the break, holding Houston to just 19 second half points. The question here is whether or not the Thunder have enough left in the tank to withstand another onslaught from a good offense in the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors head to OKC on Friday night with a record of 25-15. The Warriors are in second place in their division, trailing the Los Angeles Clippers by just two games. The Warriors are solid on both ends of the court, but the offense, led by Curry is the story for the Warriors. Golden State is averaging 103.6 points per game on the year, with Curry leading the charge with a solid average of 23 per outing. This Golden State team is playing red hot lately, winning 11 of their last 13 heading into Friday’s meeting in OKC.
The Warriors are just 4-1 against the spread when playing on just one day of rest, and the Warriors are just 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games following an ATS loss.
The Thunder are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games following a game where OKC scored in the triple digits, and the Thunder are just 1-47 against the spread in their last eight games following an ATS win.
I’m going with the under in this spot. We have two teams here that can light it up for sure, but the odds makers were pretty aggressive in setting this line. The Thunder have to be tired after last night’s game against the Rockets, and knowing that they are facing a strong offense in the Warriors, look for OKC to slow the pace down here a bit, which should allow this one to slip under this already high number.
