The Orlando Magic will be looking to avoid a tenth straight loss tonight when they welcome the Charlotte Bobcats to town.
The Magic will be hoping to avoid a tenth straight loss after falling to the Bulls in a triple overtime heartbreaker on Wednesday. Victor Oladipo had a monster game of 35 points and eight assists, Jameer Nelson added 31 points and 10 assists while Tobias Harris added 22 points but the Magic missed on a key opportunity to snap their streak, losing to the Bulls by 128-125. Meanwhile, the Bobcats have lost nine of their last 11 and are coming off a disappointing 95-92 loss against the 76ers. Kemba Walker led the way with 26 points and eight assists, while Al Jefferson added 24 points, but just when it the game looked set for overtime, Thaddeus Young sent the Bobcats to another loss by nailing the biggest three of the game with just 3.2 seconds left. With the loss, Charlotte fall to 16-24 overall and 7-13 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Bobcats are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Magic are 16-35-1 ATS in their last 52 games against a team with a losing record and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games overall.
Head to head, the Bobcats are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in Orlando.
It's always hard to pick games involving two struggling teams, but I actually saw the way the Magic battled against the Bulls and I like their chances of snapping their losing streak tonight.
