Two of the best teams in the league duke it out tonight when the San Antonio Spurs welcome the Portland Trailblazers to town.
The Blazers have won five of their last seven and will be looking for a fourth straight win tonight after taking down the lowly Cavaliers by 108-96 on Wednesday. LaMarcus Aldridge continued his fantastic season with 32 points and 18 rebounds, while Damian Lillard made five treys on his way to 28 points as Portland won their third straight home game to improve to 29-9 overall and 16-4 at home.

Meanwhile, the Spurs will be going for a seventh straight win tonight after taking down the young Jazz by 109-105 on Wednesday. With Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili sitting out the fourth quarter, the Spurs turned to Tony Parker who led the way with 25 points and nine assists to stave off the Jazz's late comeback attempt. With the win, San Antonio improved to 31-8 overall and 16-5 at home.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, while the Spurs are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a win.
Head to head, the Trailblazers are 11-5 ATS in the last 16 games but the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven.
The last time these two teams met, it was the Blazers who won by 115-105 and given that the Spurs don't lose often, I'm sure they will remember it. Having said that, I'm expecting a real close game for about three quarters before the Spurs run away with it.
