The Line: Charlotte Bobcats +7 -- Over/Under: 195 See the Latest Odds
The Miami Heat head to Charlotte on Saturday to face off against the Bobcats.
The Charlotte Bobcats have played better this season, but still this team is finding it tough to put it all together, as the Bobcats are still under the .500 mark, with a record of 17-24 on the year. The Bobcats have won two out of their last three games heading into this game, with their last outing resulting in a win against the Magic 111-101 in Orlando on Friday. Four out of the five starters for the Bobcats on Friday finished with double digit points on the night, with Al Jefferson leading the charge with 30 points and 16 boards. Walker also had a nice night for the Bobcats, finishing with a double double on the night with 19 points and ten assists.

The Miami Heat are sitting at 28-11 this season, and many are starting to accuse this team of “coasting” through the regular season. I don’t know if that‘s true or not, due to the fact that if the Heat are coasting through the season, putting up a record like this is scary for the rest of the league. The Heat have struggled lately, winning just one out of their last four, with that win coming on Friday against the Sixers in Philly 101-86. Bosh led the scoring for the Heat against the Sixers with 25 points on the night. LeBron who is one of the ones called out on coasting, finished the night with a double, with 21 points and ten assists.
The Miami Heat are just 2-8 against the spread in their last ten games against the East, and the Heat are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games against the Southeast.
The Bobcats are 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five following an ATS win, the Bobcats are also 0-4 against the spread in their last four against a team with a winning overall record.
I’m taking the under here as well. The Heat have struggled lately and now with the accusations of taking it easy this season, the Heat are on a mission to prove the doubters wrong. Look for Miami to take the pressure up defensively against the Bobcats, and with their offense that means a poor night.
The odds makers have already set this one low, but I don’t feel it’s low enough as I still expect this one to go under the total.
