The Golden State Warriors play host to the Indiana Pacers at the Chase Center on Thursday night.

The Indiana Pacers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost 10 of their past 12 games overall, but they will be looking to build some momentum after snapping a four-game slide with a 111-104 road win over the Lakers last night. Caris LeVert led the team with 30 points on 12 of 16 shooting, Domantas Sabonis added a triple-double of 20 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists while Malcolm Brogdon chipped in with 19 points and six assists. As a team, the Pacers shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and trailed for most of the game, before coming alive in the fourth quarter where they exploded for 35 points to escape with the much-needed victory. Torrey Craig had a night to forget as he finished with just five points on two of 12 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost five of their past eight games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after making light work of the Pistons in a 102-86 home win on Tuesday. Klay Thompson led the team with 21 points and four assists on six of 13 shooting, Andrew Wiggins added 19 points on eight of 13 shooting while Stephen Curry chipped in with 18 points and eight assists. As a team, the Warriors shot just 41 percent from the field and 14 of 42 from the 3-point line as they dominated right from the tipoff and outscored the Pistons by 66-38 in the first half which allowed them to rest their starters in the third quarter as no starter played more than 29 minutes.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pacers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games playing on zero days’ rest and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Warriors are 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 home games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team below. 400.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.

The Pacers are going to be shorthanded once again as Myles Turner has been ruled out, while the Warriors are still without Draymond Green and Otto Porter Jr. The Pacers have been in terrible shape, so they really needed last night’s win over the Lakers just for their own confidence, but it’s going to be tough to replicate that performance against the Warriors who will only get better the more minutes Thompson gets under his belt this season. The Pacers might stick around in the first half, but they’re playing on zero days’ rest so I’m sticking with the Warriors to win big at home.
