The Toronto Raptors look to continue their dominance over the Philadelphia 76ers tonight when they meet on NBA Friday.
The Raptors were looking a little shaky after three losses in four outings, but they've managed to steady the ship with a nice 93-85 win over the Mavericks thanks to a career-high 40 points from DeMar DeRozan. The Raptors came slowly out of the gates and found themselves down by as many as 21 points in the first quarter, but managed to regroup quickly and take advantage of a Mavs team playing without Dirk Nowitzki. Greivis Vasquez scored 17 points while Jonas Valanciunas added 12 points and 10 rebounds, but Kyle Lowry went zero for 10 from the field to finish with just three points while battling a stomach bug.

Meanwhile, the 76ers have lost seven of their last nine but were able to put a halt to a three-game skid on Wednesday by beating the Knicks by 110-106 on the road. Evan Turner led the way with a monster game of 34 points and 11 rebounds, while Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams added 19 points apiece as Philadelphia improved to 14-28 overall and 6-16 on the road where they lost three straight before their win at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 against the Eastern Conference and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games, while the 76ers are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Raptors are 20-8-2 ATS in the last 30 meetings in Philadelphia but the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five overall.
The 76ers have been playing the role of spoiler all season. They lose just about every game but win just enough to keep you a little worried about backing against them. However, the Raptors have already beaten the 76ers twice this season and I'm quite confident they can make it 3-0.
