After a six-game set yesterday, the NBA will be kicking it up a bit today, with seven more matchups on the evening schedule. Before we get settled in and wait on those tip-offs, let’s take a closer look around the league and see what’s happening out there. Here’s the latest.

Kyle Lowry, PG, Toronto Raptors: Lowry is making himself look very good amid all the trade discussions surrounding him lately. He posted an impressive outing against the Nets yesterday, logging 31 points, five rebounds and seven assists in a close-fought 104-103 victory. Lowry has at least 21 in five of the last nine games.
The Raptors have won three of their last four and stand at 23-21 on the season. Next up is a home game against Orlando tomorrow, then a five-game road trip beginning later this week.

Kevin Love, PF, Minnesota Timberwolves: Love once again cemented his status as one of the most exciting players in the NBA right now with a great effort against the Bulls last night. He put up 31 points, eight rebounds and two assists in the 95-86 victory, but only hit one of seven shots from three-point land. It was Love’s 11th time cracking the 30-point mark this year.
The T-wolves have won four of their last five games, giving them a 22-22 record on the year. They’ll try to get past .500 at home against New Orleans tomorrow.

DeAndre Jordan, C, Los Angeles Clippers: Jordan was a rebound machine against the Bucks yesterday. He didn’t do much in the way of scoring--just eight points--but was able to haul in 18 rebounds in the 114-86 blowout. That’s now three straight games Jordan has failed to hit double-figures in scoring.
That’s three straight wins for the 32-15 Clippers, and more importantly their annual January road trip is now over. They’re back home against Washington tomorrow.

Kevin Durant, SF, Oklahoma City Thunder: This Durant guy is pretty good. He kept his remarkable streak going last night with a thrilling 41-point performance in a 111-109 victory over the Hawks. Durant hit the game-winning shot, along with a stat-sheet-filling five assists, four rebounds, two blocks and three steals in the win.
That’s eight wins in a row for the Thunder, who sit at 36-10. Next up is a three game road trip, starting tomorrow night in Miami.

NBA Daily Schedule: 14 teams will be in action tonight, so we should be seeing at least a few good games out there. Here’s a look at the complete schedule, along with the start times and TV networks carrying each game.
