The Oklahoma City Thunder head to Brooklyn on Friday to face off against the Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets are currently in second place in their division, trailing the division leading Raptors by just three games. The Nets got off to a rocky start to this season, but since getting healthy Brooklyn has played much better and since has made themselves into a post season contender. The Nets have won five out of their last six games, with their only loss in that stretch coming on Monday against the division leading Raptors in Toronto 104-103.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are on a tear through the league right now, as the Thunder are atop their division and hold an outstanding record of 37-10 on the season. OKC is led by Kevin Durant, who is scoring a crazy good 31.3 points per game on the season, propelling OKC’s offense to fourth in the league in points per outing. The Thunder have won nine straight, with three of their last four wins coming on the road. Most recently, OKC defeated the Miami Heat in Miami on Wednesday 112-95.
The Thunder are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games on the road, and OKC is 8-1 against the spread in their last nine games overall. The Thunder are also 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games following an outright win.
The Nets are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games following an ATS loss, and the Nets are just 6-2 against the spread in their last eight home games.
I’m going to take the Nets in this spot. The Thunder are on a roll, but are due for a letdown, and the Nets are just the team to do it. Brooklyn has played their best ball of the year lately and has the defense to at least slow down the Thunder. I like Brooklyn to get the outright win at home against OKC, and getting points is even better.
