The Golden State Warriors invade the Vivint Arena to do battle with the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in great form as they’ve won six of their past eight games overall and because their last game got postponed, they haven’t seen the court since their 89-86 home loss to the Nuggets on Tuesday. Stephen Curry led the team with 23 points, Andrew Wiggins added 21 points with eight rebounds while Gary Payton chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds. As a team, the Warriors shot just 41 percent from the field and 10 of 32 from the 3-point line as they rallied all the way back from a 24-point halftime deficit, only to come up just short as Andre Iguodala airballed the potential game-tying shot in the final seconds.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 14 of their past 16 games overall and they will be gunning for a seventh straight victory after routing the Timberwolves in a 120-108 home win last night. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 39 points on 12 of 21 shooting, Bojan Bogdanovic added 24 points with 12 rebounds while Jordan Clarkson chipped in with 20 points off the bench. As a team, the Jazz shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 29 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 13-point halftime lead, before exploding for 34 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and win comfortably in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games against a team above .600, 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a winning record and 35-17-2 ATS in their last 54 games overall. The Jazz are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games, 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the over is 7-0 in the last seven meetings overall, the Warriors are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Utah and the Warriors are 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall.

Two of the hottest teams in the league collide in this one as the Warriors pay a visit to the Jazz for their first meeting this season. The Warriors have been missing key players Draymond Green and James Wiseman who is out again, while the Jazz could be shorthanded for this one as Mike Conley, Joe Ingles, Eric Paschall and Hassan Whiteside are all listed as day to day. It’s always tough picking between two teams missing so many players, but I’ll lean towards the Warriors in this spot, only because the Jazz could be missing a massive chunk of their lineup in this one.
