The Sacramento Kings head to San Antonio on Saturday to face off against the Spurs.
The San Antonio Spurs are once again among the elite in the NBA this season, as the Spurs are sitting at 33-13 on the year. San Antonio is currently in first place in the Southwest division, but the Spurs do have some company, as the Rockets are trailing the Spurs right now by just three games. The Spurs are led by Parker, who is averaging 18.1 points per game on the year. The Spurs are struggling a bit lately however as San Antonio has dropped three straight heading into Saturday’s meeting with the Kings. Parker is listed as probable for Saturday’s game against the Kings, and he will obviously be a welcome site for Spurs fans as the team has struggled without him in the lineup.

The Sacramento Kings head to San Antonio on Saturday in hopes to take advantage of a slumping Spurs squad. The Kings are just 15-31 on the season, and are in last place in the Pacific division right now. Sacramento is decent offensively, led by DeMarcus Cousins, who is scoring a solid 22.6 points per game this season. The Kings just can’t seem to stop anyone. Sacramento is currently on a six game losing streak, with their latest loss coming on Friday against the Mavs in Dallas, 107-103.
The Kings are 7-3-1 against the spread in their last 11 games on the road, and the Kings are just 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games against the West. The Kings are also just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games following an ATS win.
The Spurs are 8-0 against the spread in their last eight games following a double digit home loss, and the Spurs are 15-4 against the spread in their last 19 games following an outright loss.
I usually hate laying double digit points, but I see no other way to go here. The Spurs will be looking to get back into the win column here against a far weaker opponent in the Kings. Cousins is also questionable here on Saturday, which definitely doesn’t help the Kings case.
