There wasn’t a whole lot going on in the NBA last night, but that will be changing in the coming hours. We’ve got a full 10-game schedule to look forward to, which should start the weekend out on just the right note. In the meantime, here’s a look at some of the notable players out there who are making headlines right now.

Alan Anderson, SF, Brooklyn Nets: Well, this is something of a surprise. After recording just five points in his last time out, Anderson came off the bench last night to lead the way in scoring, posting 22 points in a 103-89 victory over the Spurs. He also added two rebounds and an assist in his first double-digit scoring performance since January 26.
It’s hard telling what to make of the Nets right now, who have won two in a row after losing their previous three. They’re 22-25 on the season so far. Next up is a road game in Detroit tonight.

Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors: Curry was cooking last night (which is a familiar sight), putting up 20 points in the first quarter against the Bulls. He’d end up with a total of 34 in the Warriors’ 102-87 win, breaking the 30-point mark for the 14th time so far this season. Curry also added three rebounds, nine assists and a steal.
The Warriors have won three of their last four games to notch a 30-20 record overall. They’ll be in Phoenix tomorrow night before returning home on Monday to host Philadelphia.

Current NBA Leaders: With the thin schedule last night, now’s a good time to check in on some of the category leaders around the league. Things here are sure to change, but for now here’s a snapshot of the key statistical areas out there.

Points Per Game: Kevin Durant, OKC (31.0)
Rebounds Per Game: DeAndre Jordan, LAC (14.0)
Assists Per Game: Stephen Curry, GSW (9.1)
Steals Per Game: Ricky Rubio, MIN (2.55)
Blocks Per Game: Anthony Davis, NOP (3.30)
3-Point Field Goal Percentage: Kyle Korver, ATL (46.2)
