The Chicago Bulls will be looking to cap off their six-game road trip with a win over the Los Angeles Lakers today.
The Bulls started their current six-game road trip with a big win over the Spurs, but have since lost three of their last four and are coming off an ugly 102-87 loss against the Warriors. The Bulls started the game red-hot and finished the first quarter ahead by 29-16 but they just didn't have the weapons to stick with the Warriors for 48 minutes. The Bulls were forced to lean heavily on Taj Gibson who responded with 26 points and 13 rebounds but they just weren't switched on defensively, as the Warriors' backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were allowed to combine for 56 points on 21 of 35 shooting. Carlos Boozer was a late scratch for the game after straining his left calf during warm-ups and his status for today's game is uncertain.

Meanwhile, the Lakers were able to bounce back from seven straight losses with two consecutive wins including a 112-98 victory over the struggling 76ers on Friday. On his 40th birthday, Steve Nash had a game-high 19 points while Steve Blake followed up his triple-double on Wednesday with four three pointers on his way to 14 points and eight assists. Wesley Johnson and Chris Kaman added 17 points apiece as the Lakers shot over 50 percent from the field against the league's worst defensive team. With the win, LA improve to 18-32 on the season and 10-19 on the road, but they play their next six at home where they will look to improve on their 8-13 record.
In ATS trends, the Bulls are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record, while the Lakers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Bulls are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Los Angeles but the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
