The Detroit Pistons head to Charlotte on Wednesday to face off against the Bobcats.
The Charlotte Bobcats are sitting at 24-30 this season after their solid win against the Pistons on Tuesday night. The Bobcats have one of the better defenses in the league this season, and that was on display again on Tuesday as Charlotte held the Pistons to double digit points on the night. Charlotte found their offense as well against Detroit, with Al Jefferson having a huge night against the Pistons, putting up 32 points to lead the Bobcats in their win.

The Detroit Pistons fell to the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday night; bring the Pistons to 22-31 on the season, and ranking them third in the Central division behind the Pacers and the Bulls. The Pistons are however still in the playoff hunt, due to the fact that the East is a complete joke this season, with the exception of course of the Pacers and the Heat. Detroit’s defense has struggled all season long, and once again the Pistons didn’t show up defensively against the Bobcats on Tuesday, giving up 108 to Charlotte.
The Detroit Pistons are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games overall, and the Pistons are 3-7 against the spread in their last ten road games. The Pistons are also just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games on the road when facing a team with a losing record.
The Bobcats are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games at home, and Charlotte is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven.
You have to worry a bit about the revenge factor for the Pistons here, but I don’t think it will be enough. I love the way the Bobcats play defensively, and having confidence after Tuesday’s win should propel the Bobcats to another win and cover here on Wednesday.
