The Miami Heat will finish up a long road trip with a matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Of course, these teams played at the end of January, and the Thunder won the game easily 112-95.
The Heat have actually done fairly well on this road trip, winning four of the first five games. During that stretch, they’re averaging 107.2 points on 51.1 percent shooting and allowing 103.8 points on 45 percent shooting. They’ve won their last seven games when scoring 100-plus points. On the road, the Heat average 102.3 points and allow 98.4 points. They are 23-28-1 ATS overall and 15-12-1 ATS on the road.

The Thunder have won five of their last six games and will play their first game in a week. They’ve also been an offensive powerhouse as of late, averaging 105 points on 49 percent shooting in their last five games. Defensively, they’ve allowed teams to score 99.6 points on 44.9 percent shooting. At home is where they’ve really been dominant, averaging 106.8 points and allowing just 96.8 points. They have won their last nine home games. The Thunder are 32-23 ATS overall and 15-11 ATS at home.
Looking at the spread, there’s no question where I’m going with this pick. It’s a revenge game for the Heat, as they’ve probably had this game circled on their calendar since getting blown out on their home floor. The Heat usually play extremely well on national television and have a statement to make Thursday night. LeBron James is playing out of his mind and Dwyane Wade appears to be healthy, well, at least for now.
Miami is 4-1-1 ATS in its last six road games and 6-1 ATS in its last seven meetings against Oklahoma City.
It’s not very often you’re going to see Miami getting this many points. Take advantage of it while you can.
