The Cleveland Cavaliers will be severely shorthanded tonight when they take on the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors have won five of their last six and will be going for a third straight win tonight after blowing past the Magic by 105-90 on Sunday. Kyle Lowry led the way with 28 points an DeMar DeRozan added 24 points as the Raptors shot over 52 percent from the field to cruise to win which elevates them to 31-25 on the season and 16-11 at home.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have fallen from six straight wins with two losses in a row after losing to the Wizards by 96-83 on Sunday. Luol Deng led the team with 17 points while Kyrie Irving added 15 points, but with Dion Waiters, CJ Miles and Anderson Varejao all sitting out with injuries, the Cavs were short on scoring. On the bright side, the injuries allowed new recruit Spencer Hawes to play 32 minutes and he made the most of it by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.
In ATS trends, the Raptors 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games against teams below .400 and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 road games, while the Cavs are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a loss.
Head to head, the Raptors are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Cleveland.
These two teams played last met on Friday and it was the Raptors who won by 98-91 behind a ferocious 37-21 third quarter. Given how well the Cavs have been playing at home lately, you would be tempted to take them with the points here but I think the smarter play is with the visitors tonight.
