The Knicks will be desperate to put a stop to their five-game skid today when they take on the Chicago Bulls.
The Knicks have lost 11 of their last 13 and will be desperate to put a halt to a five-game skid after getting thumped by the Warriors by 126-103 on Friday. Carmelo Anthony had 23 points and 16 rebounds while Tim Hardaway Jr added 22 points off the bench, but this game was well over by halftime. Even if Anthony poured in 40 points it wouldn't have mattered because the Knicks were just terrible on defense, especially in the first half where the Warriors were allowed to amass 73 points. Stephen Curry compiled a triple double for the Warriors and he only played 30 minutes, which just emphasises how easy the Knicks allowed the game to be for the Warriors.

On the other hand, the Bulls have won eight of their last nine games and will be going for a fourth straight win today after beating the Mavericks by 100-91 on Friday. Taj Gibson led the team with 20 points and 15 rebounds off the bench while Jimmy Butler added 19 points as the Bulls stormed back from a 16-point deficit to stun the Mavs in their own building. A big reason for the comeback was Joakim Noah who didn't have a point or rebound in the first half, but finished with 10 points and nine boards in a dominant second half. With the win, Chicago improved to 32-26 overall and 15-16 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Bulls are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall.
Head to head, the Knicks are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings and the underdog is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.
The Knicks have been playing with no desire to win lately which doesn't fare well for a team coming up against one of the toughest defenses in the league. I love the Bulls in this spot.
