The Memphis Grizzlies kick off a three-game road trip with a visit to the nation's capital tonight to play the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Grizzlies have won six of their last eight games and are coming off a 110-96 home win over the Cavaliers thanks to some balanced scoring and strong defense. Zach Randolph led the team with 23 points and 14 rebounds while Marc Gasol and Mike Conley added 22 points apiece to lead the Grizzlies past the lowly Cavs despite falling behind by 65-54 heading into halftime. Fortunately, they were able to flip the script on the Cavs and dominate the second half by 56-31 to improve their record to 33-25 which leaves them just one game behind Phoenix for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Wizards will be looking to build on a season-high six-game win streak tonight after cruising past the lowly 76ers by 122-103 on Saturday. John Wall drove the offense with 17 points and a career-high 16 assists in just 29 minutes but this game was all about Trevor Ariza who continued his hot form with eight three pointers on his way to a career-high 40 points. With the win, Washington improved to 31-28 on the season which puts them just 1 1/2 games behind the fourth-placed Chicago in the Eastern Conference.
