The league-worst Philadelphia 76ers take on Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.
The 76ers have lost 17 of their last 18 games and will be hoping to avoid a 15th straight loss after falling to the Magic by 92-81 on Sunday. Thaddeus Young poured in a team-high 29 points while Michael Carter-Williams added 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, but despite leading by as many as eight points in the third quarter, the 76ers lost another game by double digits thanks to a 26-12 fourth quarter capitulation.

On the other hand, the Thunder will be going for a third straight win tonight after blowing past the Bobcats by 116-99 on Sunday thanks to 28 points from Kevin Durant and 26 points from Russell Westbrook who shot a career-best 10 of 12 from the field while playing just 25 minutes. The final score might suggest that the Thunder dominated the game, but they didn't really take over until midway through the fourth quarter where they got on a 12-0 run to build a 20-point lead and put the game away. With the win, OKC improved to 45-15 and 1 1/2 games clear of San Antonio for the first seed in the West.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 16-35 ATS in their last 51 games overall and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record, while the Thunder are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the 76ers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Oklahoma City and 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
I knew the Thunder would be favored by double digits in this game, but 20 points is crazy. However, the more I think about it, the more I feel that the Thunder are going to cover this spread. I wouldn't bet the house on it, but it's either the Thunder or nothing.
