The Line: Portland Trail Blazers -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Atlanta Hawks travel to the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trailblazers tonight.
The Hawks have lost 11 of their last 12 games and will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight tonight after losing to the Suns by 129-120 on Sunday. Jeff Teague led seven players in double figures with 29 points on 14 of 21 shooting, Mike Scott added 20 points in his first starting gig and Kyle Korver made six threes on his way to 18 points, but it still wasn't enough as the Hawks were always climbing uphill after falling behind by 79-65 at halftime. Despite the recent struggles, Atlanta is still 26-32 on the season which is currently good enough for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Trailblazers just had their five-game win streak snapped on Monday thanks to the Lakers who beat them by 107-106. LaMarcus Aldridge led the team with 21 points, Damian Lillard had 20 while Robin Lopez and Nicolas Batum added 19 and 17 points respectively, but the game boiled down to the last six seconds of the game where the Lakers' Wesley Johnson made the game-winner on an inbounds alley-oop play. Lillard would go on to miss the desperate three pointer at the buzzer as the Blazers drop to 41-19 on the season which leaves them just half a game ahead of the fourth-placed Clippers.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss and 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Blazers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 2-7 ATS in their last nine home games.
Head to head, the Hawks are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Portland.
Coming off a bitter loss to the Lakers, I expect the Blazers to get things back on track with a double digit win at home tonight.
