For the second and final time this season, the Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets will share the hardwood. The Kings won 107-86 in their first meeting way back in November.
The Kings head into this matchup trying to figure out how to defend the three-point line, as they’re allowing teams to shoot 43.4 percent from beyond the arc in their last five games. In Friday’s loss to Toronto, the Raptors knocked down 10 threes out of 21 attempts. However, during that stretch, they’re averaging nearly 10 more rebounds than their opponent, which has helped keep them in games and led to two wins in their last three contests. On the road, they average 103.6 points and allow 104.8 points. They are 27-33-2 ATS overall and 14-14-2 ATS on the road.

The Nets hope to bounce back from an embarrassing road loss to the Boston Celtics, which snapped their four-game winning streak. During this little run they’re on, they are averaging 100.4 points on 45.2 percent shooting and are allowing 90.4 points on 43.2 percent shooting. The defense has picked up drastically, while the offense has been a lot more efficient. At home, the Nets average 98.8 points and allow 97.5 points. They are 31-29 ATS overall and 16-13 ATS at home.
This seems like a good spot to pick the Nets, a team that’s covered five of their last seven meetings against the Kings. The Kings are 0-4 ATS in their last four meetings in Brooklyn and just 4-9 ATS in their las3 games overall.
Meanwhile, the Nets have covered their last five home games and are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games playing on one day’s rest. Also, they are 4-1 ATS when being considered at least a seven-point favorite.
Look for Brooklyn to get back on track and to win this game by double digits.
