The Washington Wizards travel to the American Airlines Arena to take on the Miami Heat tonight.
The Wizards have won eight of their last nine and will be going for a third straight win tonight after beating the Bucks by 114-107 on Saturday. Trevor Ariza led the scoring with 28 points while Bradley Beal added 23 as the Wizards stormed out to a 75-53 lead at halftime before losing their focus in a 10-point third quarter where they missed 10 of 14 shots. Luckily, they would regroup in the fourth quarter and hold off the Bucks' rally thanks to Beal who scored 12 of his 23 points in the quarter. With the win, Washington improves to 33-29 overall and 17-14 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Heat return home from a horror 0-3 road trip capped by a 95-88 overtime loss against the Bulls yesterday afternoon. Dwyane Wade kicked off the night with 10 of his 25 points in the first quarter while Chris Bosh made a trio of threes on his way to 15 points, but LeBron James had a rough night of just 17 points on eight of 23 shooting. As a team, the Heat really struggled against the Bulls' defense down the stretch, shooting just 40 percent from the field while committing 17 turnovers, including a turnover against LeBron on a game-winning layup just before overtime. Miami really wanted to win that game to get closer to the top seed in the East but as it stands, they sit 1.5 games behind Indiana.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 22-8 ATS in their last 30 road games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record, while the Heat are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four home games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Wizards are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Miami but I'll have to wait for the line before I post my free pick for this game.
