For the second and final time this season, the Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz will meet on the hardwood. The Hawks won the previous meeting back in November, 118-85.
The Hawks continue to play poor basketball during the second half of the season, winning just two games since the first of February. They’re averaging 101.5 points on 45.9 percent shooting and are allowing 102.5 points on 46.5 percent shooting. This matchup will wrap up a six-game road trip and is the first game back to Utah for Paul Millsap since becoming a member of the Hawks. On the road, the Hawks average 101.8 points and allow 105.5 points. They are 28-32-1 ATS overall and 12-20-1 ATS on the road.

The Jazz just snapped a five-game losing streak with a road win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The 104-92 win marked the first time in six tries the Jazz topped 100 points. On the season, they’re averaging just 94.5 points on 44.2 percent shooting and are allowing 100.6 points on 46.4 percent shooting. In their last five matchups, the Jazz are getting outrebounded by six per game. At home, the Jazz average 97.7 points and allow 99.9 points. They are 28-32-3 ATS overall and 13-15-2 ATS on their home court.
You really have to look at this game and ask yourself if this is when the Hawks are going to snap their massive losing streak. They’ve lost every game on this road trip, which includes a loss to the Boston Celtics. I say play the percentages and keep betting against them until they finally win a game.
The Jazz have won four of their last six home games and are playing with a lot more confidence than what the Hawks have shown over the last couple of weeks.
This game is as close as it can get, but I’ll take the slight points and the home team over a team that can’t buy a win.
