The Line: Toronto Raptors -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Memphis Grizzlies take the trip up north to take on the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre tonight.
The Grizzlies have won six of their last seven and will be going for a fifth straight win tonight after taking down the Pelicans by 90-88 in a thriller on Wednesday. Marc Gasol scored 15 points while Mike Conley led the team with 16, including the game-winning shot to lead the Grizzlies past the Pelicans, but it was actually the defense that set up the win as the Pelicans were held to just 31 points in the second half, including just 14 in the fourth quarter. In fact, Memphis has held their opponents to just 88.2 ppg during their current four-game win streak while averaging 98.8 points themselves.

Meanwhile, the Raptors have won 10 of their last 13 games and will be looking to build on a 101-87 win over the Pistons on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 25 points while Amir Johnson added 20 against his former team and the Raptors bounced back from a 101-97 defeat at Brooklyn on Monday night. Toronto has now won 15 of 19 at home after losing eight of its first 12 home games this season which puts them at 19-12 at home and 36-27 on the season.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 11-3-1 ATS in their last 15 games against a team with a winning record and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games overalll, while the Raptors are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a win of more than 10 points and 26-10-1 ATS in their last 37 games overall.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 17-8-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall and 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Toronto.
Given how well the Raptors have been playing at home, I might be taking them in this game but I will have to see the line first before I give out my free pick.
Jonas Valanciunas will have to play extra minutes tonight against the strong Memphis frontcourt but I think the Raptors have what it takes to win this one at home.
