The Golden State Warriors invade the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the Thunder in a 141-114 win on Monday. Klay Thompson led the team with 42 points on 15 of 22 shooting, Jordan Poole added 21 points with 12 assists while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 57 percent from the field and a sizzling 26 of 50 from the 3-point line as they held the Thunder to just 16 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, before they exploded for 44 points in the third quarter to put the game to bed early.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting run over by the Bucks in a 127-108 loss on Monday. Damian Lillard led the team with 28 points and five assists, Anfernee Simons added 21 points with five assists while Josh Hart chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 40 percent from the field and nine of 36 from the 3-point line as they fell behind by 10 points at halftime and things only got worse as the Bucks poured in 37 points in the third quarter to put them behind by as many as 26 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on one days’ rest. The Trail Blazers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games, 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a double-digit loss at home and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss of more than 10 points.

Head to head, the over is 16-5-1 in the last 22 meetings in Portland and the under is 4-0-1 in the last five meetings overall.

The Warriors are again shorthanded as Stephen Curry is still out, while the Trail Blazers are still missing Jusuf Nurkic and they have Keon Johnson and Drew Eubanks both listed as questionable. The Warriors are really starting to gel in the absence of Curry and they looked great in their dominant win over the Thunder on Monday, so I like their chances against the Trail Blazers who are only 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games.
