The Washington Wizards invade the Sleep Train Arena tonight to take on the Sacramento Kings.
The Wizards have won 10 of their last 13 games and will be going for a third straight win tonight after taking down the Nets by 101-94 on Saturday. John Wall scored 33 points, Bradley Beal added 15 and Drew Gooden added 21 points as the Wizards closed out the Nets on a 29-15 fourth quarter to improve to 35-31 on the season. With the win, Washington moves half a game ahead of Brooklyn for fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Kings return home from a disappointing 2-5 road trip where their only wins came over the lowly Bucks and the 76ers. In their last outing on Sunday, Isaiah Thomas poured in 27 points and seven assists while Derrick Williams added 26 points and 11 rebounds off the bench, but for the second straight night, the Kings just couldn't get the stops to close out a game as they were outscored by six points in a 94-87 loss against the Bulls on Saturday. For the 10th time this season, the Kings had to play without DeMarcus Cousins and they've yet to win a game with him injured.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 17-6 ATS in their last 23 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Kings are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Wizards are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Sacramento and the Over is 5-1 in the last six.
The Kings will be relieved to finally be home after a season-long seven-game road trip, but I don't think that will help them much in this game because the Wizards have been the much better team lately and have so much to play for in terms of jockeying for playoff positions.
